Poetry Call ARS in Versi Prize

 

Ars in Versi Poetry Prize is organized in collaboration with the ARS Associations, under the patronage of Brussels Culture, Arts et Lettres Brussels, Captaloona Art Madrid.

Due to major forces linked to the emergencies of the pandemic, we are forced to postpone the event, with the hope of being able to repeat it as soon as possible. I’m so sorry, we worked so hard on this event.

 

Participation in the competition follows the following rules

 

Article 1 – Authors of any age and nationality can participate in the competition.

 

Article 2 – It is possible to participate with a single poem (in Italian, French, Spanish, Romanian and English) published or unpublished, not exceeding the length of 30 lines.  The theme is free.

 

Article 3 – The registration fee is 18 Euros, to be paid to Associazione Culturale Ars, Banca San Paolo, Rome. 

 

Article 4 – You are requested to send in a single email (headline “Ars in Versi Poetry Prize”) the following

1- your poem, without personal data, in Word format

2- a second Word file, containing

– name, surname, date and place of birth, complete address of residence (Street, city, postal code), landline and cell phone, email address, brief biographical note and these attestations:

– I declare that I am the sole author of the poem and that I hold all the rights to it.

– I consent to the processing of my personal data according to the current legislation in Italy (D. Lgs 196/2003 and GDPR).

Article 6 – The works will be read and evaluated by an international jury chaired by: Robert Paul (founder of the Arts et Lettres network, Brussels), Eugen D. Popin (editor-in-chief of the Munchen work-study magazine), Lucilla Trapazzo (Zurich), Claudio Fiorentini (Madrid) and Rachida Belkacem (culture of poetry of Morocco – Paris).

 

Art. 7 – The top three poems will receive a personalized plaque and the motivation of the Jury. Additional prizes, honorable mentions, or special prizes may be awarded to other works, should the jury decide it.

 

Article 8 – The award ceremony will be held at the Espace Art Gallery, Brussels, on 08.12.2021 taking into account the evolution of the Coronavirus crisis; where it will not be possible to hold it in presence, the ceremony will be held on online platforms and the prizes will be sent home.

 

Article 9 – Participation in the competition implies the tacit and unconditional acceptance of all the articles that compose it.
