Born in Rome in 1954, Claudio Massimi teaches art and exhibits his works in museums and galleries throughout Italy (Roma, Viterbo, Naples, Florence, Terni) and in Europe (Utrecht and Bruges). Relentless researcher of space, he uses the power of his sensibility in his work. Massimi is able to create his personal works of art without hiding from the audience. His landscapes are documented during a moment of change; this is the aspect that mostly interests him. His art overtakes the art of 1900, with a Romantic expressiveness encompassing human nature in each of its aspects. The viewer, thanks to a sublime usage of colours, remains hypnotized, reassured and infused with new life at the same time.
