Anna Proietti

was born and lives in Rome. Her natural inclination for colors and forms and the curiosity for art experimentation in its infinite manifestations led her to be open minded to several painting techniques. In 2001 she met Luigi Cammarota, a Maestro with a classical background who introduced her to oil painting. Her research went on by frequenting Maestro Spada’s studio. Thanks to this Via Margutta group exponent, she has started to paint on canvas with a strong material pigments and spatula usage and she is currently still using watercolors. She mostly loves figurative art. In the early years of her activity, she started by painting landscapes and visited places she felt close to her soul. Then, she has started to re-interpret the reality. She exhibited her paintings in collective and solo projects in Rome and in others Italian regions. She took part in the event “WEST LAKE FAIR” in Hangzou- China. More recently, she took part in a project with the “100 painters of Margutta” group in MACRO (Museum of Contemporary Art), Rome.
