Ducu Elena

Born in Romania, Elena Ducu showed since early age a profou

nd passion for colors and light. To further her studies she enrolled in Italy in the Academy of Art of Italy. With her paintings, vibrant, gestural, exuding feelings, the artist aims to capture the fleeting suggestions of the light, constantly moving, constantly transforming its chromatic hues. Elena Ducu wants to captures the moment of wonder, the ephemeral moment that our eyes perceives and transforms in yearning. Thanks to her poetic and personal style, the artist can depict the surges of the soul, and she can translate them through different artistic languages, from abstract painting to sculpture, from photography to installations. Her works have been auctioned and chosen for an exhibition in the prestigious ‘’Reggia di Caserta’’. Her paintings are shown regularly in International group exhibitions n Italy and abroad. Recent exhibition saw her in Bruges Utrecht, Paris, Zurich, New York, Munich, Krakow, and London. She is founder and President of ARS – Cultural Movement, an association, which deals with development and circulation of contemporary art.

Trapazzo Lucilla

Multifaceted artist (painting, writing, theater), she summarizes her different interests and artistic languages in the form of installations and of multimedia performances. In this exhibition, she is present with an installation, “Lacrimosa”. A dead tree, five small screens, like leaves, an inesorable loop video, this is the simple and eveocative structure of this work, a prayer and a reflection. Upon a  forgotten humanity (the homeless in New York) the eyes of two children stand out, collective consciousness and future hope. In the time of global noise, “Lacrimosa” wants to meditate on how sound influences the visual and affective experience of the viewer. The five identical video loops will be accompanied by different soundtracks, in order to create different connections of sensory synaes

thesia. The installation was presented at vario

us international exhibitions and festivals.
