Alba Carafa, born in Atessa in 1972, earned her high school diploma in 1991 at institute P. De Giorgi, in Atessa.
Enchanted by the unspoiled nature of Canistro Superiore (AQ), where she lived from 1997 to 2003, Alba has developed a particular sensitivity and attention towards ecology, which has inspired a first prolific production of works with a naturalistic background. Having cultivated her passion for painting and decorative arts, as self-taught, inclined to technical and material experimentation, in the last luster she has participated in many impromptu and collective exhibitions. Among her paintings, realized on multiple surfaces, also includes some valuable frescoes.
Her painting, first devoted to landscape themes, slowly turned to intimism with expressive quotations from the masters of impressionism.
